The Streets of London
Wandering through the many street markets in London is always popular on the weekends. Be sure to get to Portobello markets for stylish street clothes, funky art and old school records. Camden Markets for body piercing, tattoos and to get yourself a Mohawk and Borough Markets for farm fresh veggies, the best chocolate brownies in the world and all the cheese you could ever dream of.
Never leave London without a visit to China town near Leicester Square. It's an institution in London that we hope never disappears but the council is continually increasing rates which may one day drive a lot of the smaller Chinese businesses out of town. Try the Crispy Duck pancakes, they are delicious! While on the topic of food, don't forget to try out your haggling skills for a good curry deal in Brick Lane!
For shopping experiences, you cannot miss the opportunity to at least walk into Harrods. You may not be able to afford anything, but hey, looking is free! Try out the bathrooms, they have so many different types of perfume you can try and they are just immaculate! It will certainly be a highlight of your shopping experience! Then of course, you cannot miss a Saturday morning shopping on Oxford Street, one of London's busiest streets! It's a sight to behold!
Museums in London
Visiting London's Museums is an amazing experience and should not only be left to the creative and cultured folk. The history and the artifacts displayed can be quite unbelievable and an eye opening experience. Amazingly most of the big Museums in London are Free - that includes the Science, Natural History and Imperial War Museums, The British Museum and The John Soane Museum of London.
The Oxford vs Cambridge Boat Race
An event which attracts thousands of spectators is the Oxford vs Cambridge Boat Race which takes place down the River Thames in March. All the bars and Restaurants along the River offer specials and bands are playing through-out the day. You can just set-up camp on the grass, people watch and enjoy your surroundings. To be honest you are lucky if you actually see the boats race. There is so much happening around you, it is easy to be distracted.

The sights, the events, the different cultures you will encounter are all life changing experiences that will make you see the world in a different light.
There are always flight specials being advertised, to ensure you don't miss out think about becoming a member of Ryanair and Easyjet, these are both very popular airlines to use.
Catching trains and travelling through-out Europe
A popular way of travelling throughout Europe is via Train, the trains are almost always on time; they are comfortable; and allow you to see the countryside. They tend to be in or near city centers so you avoid having to take an expensive cab ride to and from the airports, which tend to be outside the city center. Travelling by train also eliminates the hassle of checking your luggage and going through customs if you cross the border.
Important mobile and bank tips before travelling around Europe
If you make or receive a call whilst you are in Europe and you have a UK Sim Card, you may be charged at a very high rate. Try to avoid using your Mobile phone as you may find a nasty bill for you waiting at home. To enable you the option of using your Mobile however, make sure your phone is programmed on roaming, we suggest contacting your Service Provider before departing to discuss.
