Am I qualified to teach in New Zealand schools?
To teach in a school in NZ you must have the following:
- Teaching qualification from your home country verified by the NZQA
- Registered with the New Zealand Teachers Council
- Current police clearance from your home country
- Eligible for an appropriate Visa allowing you to work in NZ
- 2 references from a leader in your school (eg HOD, principal, deputy)
