The New Zealand job market has been quiet the past few weeks within the Chartered Accountant space; however there is a huge demand for Insolvency, Forensic and Corporate finance people. A lot of CA firms are looking for high end, cream of the crop candidates. With the number of candidates out there, firms are cautious and are willing to wait for the right person. The problem with this scenario is that candidates also have options. There is always a demand for BAS (Business Advisory).
