Working as a doctor in the UK

Doctors applying for work in the UK must be registered with the GMC – General Medicine Council.

Full registration is required for roles such as RMOs, Senior House Officers and Staff Grade.
Should you wish to work on a Consultant Grade Level, you will also be required to be in the Specialist Register with the GMC.
